Metropolis Banquet

You're invited to join your fellow Metropolis Rugby teammates, friends, family and fans at the Annual Awards Banquet at Forgotten Star Brewery!  Don't miss this chance to share a fun evening reflecting on the Season and rewarding those who performed, contributed and supported all the efforts on and off the pitch.

This year the banquet will still be a formal event. We will be catering in food from Chimborazo.

Registration Deadline: January 24th, 2026 

When:  Saturday February 7th, 2026

Schedule:

• Social Hour starts at 6:00pm 
• Dinner Buffet Opens at 7:00pm
• Presentation and Awards Begin at 8:00pm

• SECO DE POLLO: Chicken stewed in peppers, onions, garlic, and a hint of passionfruit
• YUCA FRITA: Fried cassava topped with garlic and citrus *gluten free*
• ENSALADA FRESCA: green salad with tomato, yellow pepper, red pepper, onion, avocado, and queso fresco
• White rice
• Beans
• Fried sweet plantains
