Started playing with MN in 1990 through the transition from U of M to MN Valkyries. Then the transition from MN Valkyries to Metropolis Valkyries.
What position did/do you play in rugby?
Scrum Half
Favorite Rugby Memory?
The first time the Valkyries beat New York, in the wind-blown plains at Rockford, IL, to earn our first berth in the national semifinals. Turned out to be the first of many, but it had been a long road back to get over that hurdle and into the national championship.

Favorite Rugby Memory?
There are so many great memories that it is hard to say one. I would say it is a great feeling to be a part of a club that has had the level of talent come through it in the time that I've spent here. National and International players, anyone can learn so much from each person on and off the field no matter the level of rugby played.
Kat Taylor
Marketing Director
How long have you been with Metropolis?
I have been a part of the Metropolis family for 5+ years.
What position did/do you play in rugby?
I actually don't play rugby. Most people assume I do, but I just watch my boyfriend/friends play. If I did play rugby, I think I would be a great Lock or Prop.
Favorite Rugby Memory?
One of my favorite rugby memories would be watching my first rugby match. I had NO idea what was going on, but I was blown away by it and couldn't take my eyes off the field.
