Last weekend Metropolis played the University of Minnesota’s A & B sides at the pitch at Hamline University, helping the U prepare for their upcoming Nationals campaign. The Metropolis A side came away with a 10 -7 win & the B side were over come by in the final minutes by the U’s B side 0 – 7. Conditions were less than conducive to great rugby; however the team showed good composure under constant pressure from the U of M Men in the cold, wet conditions.

On behalf of the team, I’d like to wish the U of M men good luck in their upcoming play-offs game out in California!

P.S. Thanks to the Old Boys who made it out to fill out the B Side, this allowed a lot of new ruggers from both Metropolis & the U of M to get a full game.
