Thanks to Isaac Johnson for the summary.

October 28, Muscatine, IA

This past weekend the club headed to Muscatine, IA to play Pearl City. With a strong wind in our face in the first half, we we had a few chances at scoring, but still spent most of the half playing defense. We got back a few points in the second half with the wind at our backs, but we came up a bit short at the final whistle, losing 22-12.

The B side game followed, and was quite the spectacle due to a number of reasons:
- Breakout game for new-guy Reid Pulley, who made about 40 tackles and took about 10 runs
- The return of Wade (scored 1 try)
- Perhaps the heaviest backline assembled in Metropolis history (maybe not counting the Pachyderms): Kreblin at Flyhalf, Wade at Inside, Ike at Outside, and Jester on one of the Wings. (can't remember other wing or fullback)
- Gordy at 8 man
- And I think Kohlbeck took one scrum at tighthead...but I could be wrong.

Final score of the B side game was a 10-10 tie.

So, that wraps it up for the Fall season. Now practice will be replaced with nicer things, such as "Thirsty Thursday" (THIS coming Thursday, in case you forgot) and bowling nights. Hope to see you all there.
