The boys fared well in pool play, beating UNI, Reefers II, and the Banshees. The Banshees were the only team to score a try against them.

In the elimination round, Metropolis defeated the Griffins to make it to the final, where they played the Reefers. Even though Metropolis had more possession through the game, the boys couldn't seem to get it in the try zone and they ended up taking 2nd.
